do you offer tours
No. Our establishment offers your furry companions a homely atmosphere that replicates the experience they would have in your own residence. They are encouraged to freely wander and explore their surroundings, providing a true home away from home experience. Nonetheless, to prioritize the safety and security of all involved, we regret that we cannot accommodate tours or visits from pet parents. The introduction of unfamiliar individuals may cause disruption and excitement amongst our four-legged guests.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING
Your pup & their food, unless you will be purchasing meals from us. Beds & blankets are welcomed but not required.
WHAT SHOULDN'T I BRING
Please do not bring feeding bowls of any kind, toys, blankets, or beds. We provide everything required for your fur baby to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
do you provide food
Yes, we provide food upon request. We offer home cooked, human grade food. The additional cost is $5 per 8oz.
do you provide any treats
We do provide treats throughout the day and in between meals, unless otherwise instructed not to include your pup.
do you send updates of my pup's stay
Yes. Daily picture and video updates of your pup's stay are sent, whether daycare or staycation.
do pup's sleep indoors or outdoors
All pups sleep comfortably indoors. If requested, comfortable outdoor accommodations can be provided.
can frozen food be accommodated
Yes. Most types of meals/food and most doggy diets can be accommodated at Tru's Poos.
do you offer meet & greets
Yes, we offer Meet & Greets. They are held at a local park in Cerritos. Please be sure to bring your fur baby to the Meet & Greet.
do you offer long-term boarding
Yes. Your pup's staycation can range anywhere from a couple of days to a few months or more.
what vaccinations do you require
We require Influenza, Rabies & Bordetella vaccinations to be current upon the start of your pup's visit, without exception. This is to keep every pup visiting, safe and healthy.
do you accept special needs pups
Yes. We are trained and equipped to care for a wide range of special needs pup's. Our rate for all special needs pups is an additional $15 above the regular rate.
what should i expect at drop off
Upon your arrival, we will meet you outside to collect your fur baby and their belongings. Please be sure you give them a farewell kiss & plenty of cuddles, as we will take it from there & escort them inside. Any items they bring along will be tagged & stored in their assigned cubby.
do you administer medication
Yes. We administer medications of all types at a rate of $10 per day, regardless of the type or amount. The following are examples of items that fall under medications: injections, pills, ointment, vitamins, eye/ear drops, etc.
do you provide grooming during visit
Yes. We will provide express grooming upon request, which includes a bath and blow dry, hair brushing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trimming. The rates are as follows: Express grooming packages: sm- $10 med- $20 lrg- $30 Hair brushing: sm- $7 med- $12 lrg- $15 Teeth brushing: sm- $7 med- $12 lrg- $15 Ear cleaning: sm- $7 med- $12 lrg- $15 Nail trimming: sm- $7 med- $12 lrg- $15
can my pup be picked up and dropped off
Yes. We offer a drop off/pick up service upon request. The charge is based on round trip mileage. Our service area is within 30 miles only. The charges are as follows: 0 to 5 miles -> $10 5+ to 10 MILES -> $25 10+ to 20 MILES -> $50 20+ to 30 MILES -> $60
can i drop off early and/or pick up late
Yes. The rate is $15 PER REQUEST (EX: IF YOU ARE REQUESTING TO DROP YOUR PUP OFF EARLY AND PICK YOUR PUP UP LATE, THE COST WOULD BE $30) - (EARLY IS ANY TIME BEFORE 7:30 AM AND LATE IS ANY TIME AFTER 8:30 PM)
do you provide extended care
RATES ARE BASED ON A 24HR TIME PERIOD FROM THE START TIME OF YOUR PUP'S STAY TO THE END TIME OF YOUR PUP'S STAY. RATES MAY APPLY FOR EACH PET IF THE END TIME ON THE FINAL DAY IS MORE THAN 1HR LATER THAN THE START TIME ON THE FIRST DAY: 1-8 ADDT'L HRS -> 50% 8+ ADDT'L HRS -> 100%
do you offer video/facetime calls
Yes. Theh rate is $10 per call (A DATE/TIME WILL BE MUTUALLY AGREED TO AND SCHEDULED FOR A 5 MINUTE FACETIME/VIDEO CALL)

Yes. ADDITIONAL PUPS WILL RECEIVE A DISCOUNTED RATE. FOR EACH PUP THAT RECEIVES THE STANDARD RATE, UP TO 2 ADDITIONAL PUPS WILL RECEIVE THE DISCOUNTED RATE. (EX #1: IF YOU HAVE 4 PUPS TOTAL VISITING, THE 1ST PUP WILL RECEIVE THE STANDARD RATE. THE 2ND & 3RD PUPS WILL RECEIVE THE DISCOUNTED RATE. THE 4TH PUP WILL RECEIVE THE STANDARD RATE.

CANCELLATIONS &
If you cancel before 12:00 p.m 3 days before the booking begins, you will receive a 50% refund for the first 7 days of the booking, and a 100% refund for any days after that. any cancellation after 12pm 3 days before the booking begins, will result in a forfeiture of your booking fee.
Pet Owners who arrange for Pet Care Services and fail to retrieve their pet after the service period identified in a Booking agree that Tru's Poo's may, in its (or his or her) sole discretion, place the pet in foster care, transfer care to animal control or other law enforcement authorities, or find other alternate care. Pet Owner agrees to reimburse Tru's Poo's for all costs and expenses associated with such actions. Further, Tru's Poo's expressly reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove a Pet Owner’s pet from care should we deem it necessary for the safety of a pet, ourselves, or any persons living in the household/facility.
